A report from MMXI Europe reports that the number of British Internet users jumped from 7.8 million in October 1999 to 9.2 million in March 2000. Users now spend an average of 276 minutes online each month, compared to 257 minutes six months ago. Internet users aged 55 or over now account for 10% of all users in Britain.
