With the jury still divided on whether or not the UK did celebrate its first genuine e-Christmas last year, it seems that the online Christmas selling season ended sooner than some retailers had anticipated. Research from Book Track revealed that many consumers stopped buying books online after 11 December due to concerns over reliability of pre-Christmas deliveries.

If this applies to online charity retailers, then the lesson is to start this year’s Christmas sales drive a little earlier.
