Abbey National is offering a toy donation programme whereby it is collecting toys and games at 40 of its branches around the country and then distributing them to 10 children’s hospitals.
You would only know of this if you read the newspapers: no mention of this seasonal goodwill can be found on the Abbey National Web site. Given the extensive marketing by online toy shops in the run-up to Christmas, it would seem the company is missing a good opportunity.
