Global online fundraising survey launched

Charities and non-profits around the world are being asked to take part in a survey of online fundraising. Dr. Swapan Garain, a Senior Fellow in Philanthropy at Johns Hopkins University, has set up the short survey, which is being hosted by GiveToCharity.

Participants will be given access to the findings of the survey. “I am sure that this information will be invaluable for your fundraising strategy,” said Dr Garain.

The survey focuses primarily on secure transactions, rather than the wide range of online fundraising and supporter development activities currently possible. Still, it is to be hoped that the survey will fill some of the gaps in sector-wide statistics for online fundraising activities.
