Looking for advice on applying to the National Lottery for a grant? Such advise could be closer than you think. The London Borough of Havering has recently launched its own National Lottery Web site. “It is the first of its kind in London and one of the first in the UK,” David Whitehouse, the borough’s nominated lottery officer, told UK Fundraising. His role is to assist all organisations and groups in the Borough who may want to apply to the distributing agencies for funds from the National Lottery. David also works with Havering Council’s External Funding Team, particularly where partnership funding is concerned.
