Howard Lake | 25 April 1997 | News

“Connecting”, a new publication to help public and voluntary sector staff use the Internet effectively, has just been launched.
Connecting is published six times a year and is available for £21. It is published by Karen Meador who also offers other search and reporting services to charities and public sector organisations.
The first issue covers personalised news services, mental-health-related discussion groups, central government resources, and other news relating to online developments in the sectors. Future issues will feature fundraising resources on the Internet, virtual towns and tourism, how to find e-mail addresses, online bookshops, children’s charities, housing resources, and education and curriculum resources.
