Charity database specialists Fisk Brett have launched two new services for not-for-profit organisations - a range of outsourcing solutions, and Right Address, an address cleaning service.
Both new services are available not only to the company's existing clients but to all not-for-profit organisations.

Canadian-based Venture Initiatives for Philanthropy is attempting to direct some of the revenues from online dating to charities through its SingleswithHeart.com website.
Many online dating websites are generating significant income, so Venture Initiatives for Philanthropy (V.I.P.) decided to create a site that benefited charities.

Kirsty Howard, the young girl who fronts the Kirsty Appeal, which raises funds for the Francis House Children's Hospice, has launched a fundraising wristband.
Wristbands are now on sale for £2 with "all money going to secure the future of Francis House."
Kirsty is reportedly improving after spending the weekend "battling for her life" in hospital.

Business magazine Forbes has published its second annual list of the 100 most powerful women in the world. It's not a list of the wealthiest women of course, but in many cases there's a good correlation between power and wealth.
Forbes offers some useful methods of exploring the top 100 list. You can view by country, rank and occupation, as well as by name of course.

Gift Aid expert Barry Gower of GAIN says that he has come up with a way of claiming Gift Aid on sales in charity shops.
Charities are missing out on significant Gift Aid income from sales in charity shops, according to Barry Gower, who says his company can provide an approved method of redressing this.
