For the second year running online greetings card site charitycards.co.uk has raised £40,000 for its partner charities.

The site sells everyday and Christmas cards, including charity packs and personalised cards on behalf of 44 participating charities.

The Greetings Card Company, which runs the site, has just launched an improved version of the site which includes an affiliate programme. Now any charity can earn income from any sales generated by visitors from its Web site. The Greetings Card Company will at no charge create a site branded to fit with the charity’s site, and will pay 10% of ex-VAT sales generated by driving visitors to the site. Payment to affiliates is made quarterly, assuming that the commission fee is over £50.
