Does anyone have experience of using a database called Advantage Fundraiser.
It is a package we are looking at and seems to have all the things we need
in a FR database, but is much cheaper than the other packages available.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has any practical experience of
    using this package.

    Many thanks

I haven’t heard of this package. However, I can heartily recommend a
package called Sapphire which is put together by Paloma Systems. It runs
on an access programme, and can be used as a contact and donor database,
produce many different reports and analyses and do the usual mail merge
    thing.

If you want to investigate further their number is: 01273 778688. They
do a lot of commercial work, but not much currently for charities. Let
them know that Debbie from St Giles Trust recommended you get in touch.

    Good luck

We offer a very competitively priced product called Donor Strategy. This has been developed over the past 10 years specifically for charities.

It can cope with all aspects of fundraising including event management, as well as brilliant contact management, gift aid claims and so on.

You can find more information, request a demo version or quotation from our website at http://www.charitysoft.co.uk.

    I hope this helps.

I too use the package from Paloma Systems called Sapphire. It is not only very user friendly but their support to next to none. We have been using the program for a while now and absolutely love it. It was well within our budget and works perfectly with our manual processes.

We would highly recommend it to anyone.
