Hi, Im just wondering if anyone has come across any figures for the UK on percentage of people who give via SMS.
Ive just found the following article regarding charges which states that the charities receive between 80% and 95% of the total amount:
Try talking to Roger Craven at
who are SMS and mobile specialists for the charity sector. He might well have stats.
There is also the Mobile Data Association’s CharityText site:
which has some recent updates about income raised via use of text.
Excellent stuff, thank you Howard.
