Re Raiser's Edge – exporting a database

    Can anyone help me ? How do you export a database in Raiser’s edge.. I’m consulting for an organisation who has lost its expert for a couple of weeks and we really need to access the email list of all listed in the Raisers Edge database. The project (its an on-line survey) I’m working on will be substantially delayed – and I’ll end up working for nothing in November, unless I can sort this.. Please help. Thanks a million.

    I’m afraid my databse is is Filemaker Pro so I’m not of much help. But maybe you could try Ryan Abbot who has posted himself as someone who has 5 years experience with Raizers Edge. He has his details on this forum under ‘jobs’

    Thanks Vicki – in the meantime I’ve spoken to Claire who has talked me through it… it looks similar to Access – a query based system – so fingers crossed..

    I would recommend using David’s services, he helped us when we transferred a database from RE to CHARITease and will be using him for another project.

    If your client has an exisitng maintenance agreement then you can call the Blackbaud Support line and they will talk you through creating the export for free. Number is 0845 658 8500
