Does anyone have experience of subscribing to these and know how up to date their information is, compared to each other? Or know of any other information sites that are similar?
Thanks
Sophie,
I represent an organisation called j4b, we are leaders in providing funding information to the voluntary and communtiy sector through our work in local government (over 160 local councils and CVS). We are partnered with organisations like the Directory of Social Change and FunderFinder, and more recently with ProFunding.
On the subject of ProFunding – they are excellent and provide information on funding for volcom groups and commentary on the sector. Their commentary is particularly useful.
If you are looking for up to date information on funding schemes – we update every 24 hours and have an inhouse research team as well as work with partners.
Try http://www.j4bgrants.co.uk – this is a subscription based site for business and voluntary and community funding. You can select appropriate sunscrption options, set up email alerts and receive sector news.
If you are located in one of the regions where we work with local government you can access this information for free – email on colin.frankland@j4b.com with your location and ill let you know.
Hope i have been of assistance
Best regards

From experience I think the DSC database at:
http://www.trustfunding.org.uk is likely to be the most up to date at useful database if what you want is essentially UK trust and foundation information.
