Does anyone know of a suitable software package which provides a shared calendar facility? I am trying to set up a fundraising calendar for our office (4 users) on which we can share information on events and applications. Microsoft Outlook is too basic and does not offer reminders to all users for example and does not link events.
I am additionally about to start a fundraising database and was therefore also wondering if anyone knows of a database with calendar facility?
Just a few thoughts from me;
Most of the best known fundraising CRM systems have good integration with Outlook – and I know of at least one system that does have a shared calendar of events, as you are looking for (Raiser’s Edge)
I’m always keen also to encourage organisations thinking about a new fundraising system to bear in mind 2 things
a) creating your own system in Access is just not in the best long-term interests of your organisation, whatever your size and needs
b) you get what you pay for – some of the cheaper systems don’t necessarily provide you with the tools you need – and you may incur costs in other ways.
