    Hello everyone,

I’m new to this website and am just starting out in fundraising, my background is in Sales. I just started working for a small charity as a Fundraising Executive. My focus is mainly community fundraising. My manager has asked me to seek mentoring or adhoc advice from experienced fundraisers, so I was just wondering if anyone would be able to help? I’d greatly appreciate it.

    My e-mail address is adam.feder@nhs.net.

    Many thanks,

    Adam

I’d suggest that you become a member of the Institute of Fundraising:

    http://www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk

They provide useful information, training, professional development, and networking opportunities. There are a network of local/regional groups of members who get together to share ideas and advice, and there are similar groups focusing on particular fundraising disciplines.

I’ve been a member since 1989 and think membership is very good value.

Thanks Howard. I signed up earlier today, so I look forward to gaining access to these resources.
