I am working on a charity affiliate scheme for a new website called BookRabbit which has just been launched this week. (www.bookrabbit.com)
One of the great features of the site is that users can create their own categories and sub categories of books making it much easier for people to find books on a particular topic. We are keen to work with charities to create sensible categories for books relevant to their area of work and are also offering 8% commission on any sales made via a link on the charity website.
For example we have categorised books on Downs Syndrome making it much easier to find suitable books see http://www.bookrabbit.com/catalogue/browsecategory/categoryid/1013/Down-Syndrome
Is this something that would be of interest? If so please let me know.
Another feature of the site is that users can upload photos of their book shelves and will then be shown other members who have read similar books. You can then browse their shelves and perhaps find more books of interest. We are keen to get bookshelves of “people we admire” who are well known personalities to upload their bookshelves so if you have a trustee or patron who is a well known public figure who would be willing to put their bookshelves on the site we would be prepared to make a donation to the charity in exchange.
Again if this is of interest, please let me know.
I would welcome any comments/advice people may have to help me set this up as this is new to me.
