Charities and Company Support – Where to Begin

4 November 2011 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

This course is kindly supported and hosted by the Guardian Voluntary Sector network.

During these difficult times companies are a valuable source of support for charities. This comes in many forms: financial, in-kind, fundraising and volunteering. However many small charities find it difficult to engage with companies and can feel excluded. So what can you do to improve your chances?

There will be an opportunity to meet with one of the CAF Company Relations team who engage with a range of corporate organisations for some tips.

For: Small charities in the early stages of developing a corporate fundraising plan.

Objective: Understand how relationships work and draft an action plan of next steps. Explore the world of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and CCI (Corporate Community Investment), learn what companies are looking for from charities, the mutual benefit and look at successful case studies..
