**Applications are open for the Sounddelivery Media Spokesperson Training Programme,
which aims to diversify the voices heard in the media and make it more representative
of society.**

The nine-month [training programme](https://www.sounddelivery.org.uk/spokesperson-network/training-programme/)
is free to participants. Back for its second year, it aims to equip a new network
of 14 leaders with the skills and confidence to become more visible public spokespeople
to share their ideas, have their expertise heard more widely and ultimately drive
change they want to see.

It is looking for leaders using their lived experience to create positive change
in and for their communities to take part, and will prioritise people/communities
that are underrepresented in the media. Funding has also been ring-fenced to ensure
that accessibility needs are not a barrier to participation.
