**The Prudence Trust, which was founded in 2020, has launched its very first open
grants round.**

[More Places To Go For Help](https://theprudencetrust.org/more-places-to-go-for-help/)
is a £1.5 million funding round to increase support for young people struggling
with anxiety and/or depression.

Charities with an established track record in delivering mental health services
for young people aged 11 to 25 are invited to apply for grants of £30,000 – £150,000
a year for up to three years. Funding can be used to increase capacity or expand
existing mental health services or create new services, such as community drop-in
centres. Projects must be based in London or offered online.

The Prudence Trust Director, Tara Leathers said:

> “We know one in eight children and young people have a clinical mental health
> disorder. The high numbers who need help mean there are often long waiting times
> and simply not enough places to go for personalised support where young people
> feel comfortable. We hope this funding will enable charities which are already
> offering excellent services to do even more, at a time where young people really
> need help.”
