**For the Lego brand’s 90th anniversary, the Lego Foundation is giving out grants
worth 900 million Danish Kroner (over £100 million) to help give children the best
start in life.**

Through its [Build a World of Play Challenge](https://learningthroughplay.com/build-a-world-of-play/the-challenge/),
it is looking for solutions designed to meaningfully impact the wellbeing and holistic
development of young children (from birth to age six) in a sustainable way. As well
as transforming early childhood experiences ideas should address global social issues
that impact young children’s lives.

Ideas, it says, must be ‘impactful, feasible, community-centred, and sustainable’,
and organisations worldwide can apply.
