#### Julie Child joins the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation as CEO

The [Healthcare Workers’ Foundation](https://healthcareworkersfoundation.org/)****(
HWF) has appointed Julie Child as Chief Executive. Working closely with the charity’s
Founder and Chairman, Dr Dominic Pimenta, she will spearhead the charity’s strategy
as the NHS and healthcare workers continue grappling with the UK’s pandemic recovery.
The appointment marks the next step in HWF’s journey, having launched not long after
the UK faced its first major lockdown in early 2020. Child’s appointment will ensure
the charity continues to future-proof it’s provisions that support healthcare workers
post-pandemic, while also ensuring frontline staff have access to adequate welfare
and wellbeing support both now and into the future.
