Except in a few cases, EU citizens and their family members need to apply if they want to live and work in the UK after 30 June 2021. So far it has seen more than 3.2 million applications and nearly 2.9 million granted status. Last year, the [Home Office awarded £9 million of funding](https://fundraising.co.uk/2018/11/06/funding-available-assist-vulnerable-risk-eu-citizens-immigration-status/) to 57 charities across the UK to help vulnerable EU citizens with their applications, and has now announced that funding will continue. ## Advertisement [⌊Posthub advert. The 57 charities currently funded by the Home Office will have their funding extended until the end of June 2020, to allow their work to continue during the bidding process for this round. The bid process will begin shortly and more details will be announced in due course. * **[Funding news round-up: 4 opportunities for charities](https://fundraising.co.uk/2020/03/17/funding-news-round-up-4-opportunities-charities/)**( 17 March 2020) * **[National Garden Scheme to donate over £1 million this year despite gardens closure](https://fundraising.co.uk/2020/03/27/national-garden-scheme-to-donate-over-1m-this-year-despite-gardens-closure/)**( 27 March 2020) * **[Brevio launches to help charities find funds faster](https://fundraising.co.uk/2020/05/11/brevio-launches-help-charities-find-funds-faster/)**( 11 May 2020) ![Loading](https://fundraising.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/page-views-count/ajax-loader- 2x.gif)
