DSC Charityfair is a training event for voluntary organisations, taking place on 28-29 June in London.
It consists of 18 learning lab training sessions, covering; fundraising, governance, leadership and marketing. Individual learning labs are just £55 for a 90 minute session, whilst an early bird day rate is £130 (consisting of 3 learning lab sessions and lunch).
Plenty for fundraisers
The fundraising training sessions cover; corporate pitches, trust proposals, governance & fundraising, writing letters to grant-making trusts, effective fundraising strategy and fundraising data protection regulations.
Bernie Hollywood OBE and social entrepreneur will explore six ways to connect charities to business on Wednesday 28 June. Julie Bentley, CEO at Girlguiding, will talk about how well the UK is doing to support women in leadership roles on Thursday 29 June.
