**Giving Tuesday is one week away. Here are five elements of the global day of giving
to look out for.**

## 1. Royal Mail postmark

The Royal Mail, involved in the campaign for the first time this year, will stamp
a #givingtuesday postmark on millions of letters to mark the day. It will feature
the date of the campaign, the hashtag and the [givingtuesday.org.uk](http://givingtuesday.org.uk)
web address.

## 2. Sky TV advert

Giving Tuesday will be promoted with a national TV advertisement for the first time.
The 30-second advert will air over 100 times on Sky News and Sky Sport, courtesy
of M.i. Media, from Sunday and on the Tuesday.

It has been created by CAF and creative agency WPN Chameleon. Look out for it on
Sky News at 6.41pm on Sunday 27 November. Here is a preview:

Why not synchronise your #givingtuesday social posts to take advantage of the
advert? The ad will air on in the evenings and includes the #givingtuesday hashtag.
Monthly audience reach for Sky News is around 10 million viewers, so there will
be plenty of people watching. [Download the schedule](http://www.givingtuesday.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/GivingTuesday-InTheNews-Charity-Tips.pdf)
to help you.

Once you’ve scheduled those posts, head to the pub. The ad will be on Sky Sports
in pubs nationwide. With support from MatchPint.co.uk WPN Chameleon has contacted
over two thousand venues showing Sky Sports to ask them and their customers to support
their favourite charity on #givingtuesday.

If your charity has a local presence, [use the Giving Tuesday resources for charities ](http://www.givingtuesday.org.uk/downloads)
and contact relevant pubs to see if they’ll support your charity.

## 3. MPs’ choir

Plenty of [fundraisers are members of a choir](https://fundraising.co.uk/2016/07/11/choir-of-fundraisers/).
So too, it seems, are MPs. A cross-party choir of MPs will be singing carols on
College Green, Westminster outside the Houses of Parliament at 1pm on #givingtuesday.

The group, which will include Victoria Prentis MP, Will Quince MP, Robert Buckland
MP,  Andrea Jenkyns MP and Eilidh Whiteford MP, will be performing to help raise
money for some of the most vulnerable people in Syria as part of the Singing for
Syrians initiative.

## 4. eBay shop

eBay Giving Shop

eBay has announced a ‘[do good, feel good](http://ebay.co.uk/giving)’ shop to promote
giving, which will launch in time for #givingtuesday. The shop on ebay.co.uk will
feature over 150 items from big name brands and famous faces. A percentage of sales
from every item will go towards selected charities within the eBay for Charity programme.

## 5. Launch at BT Tower

Giving Tuesday is backed by more than 1,400 partners including Morrisons, Sainsbury’s,
the Financial Times, London Zoo, Sue Ryder, Cancer Research UK, and RSPCA. Some
of these will be present at the top of BT Tower on the morning of #givingtuesday
as CAF and BT MyDonate launch the day.
