**The Social Enterprise Assist Fund ([SE-Assist](https://se-assist.co.uk/)), a social
investment initiative funded by Legal & General and managed by [CAF Venturesome](http://www.cafonline.org/venturesome‎),
has announced its support for six social enterprises in Wales.**

The fund, which offers interest free loans ranging from £10,000 to £30,000, business
mentoring and expert advisory services to its successful applicants, was created
in partnership with the Welsh Government, Wales Co-Operative Centre, Business in
the Community Wales and the Institute of Directors Wales.

This latest round of funding means SE-Assist has now lent over £500,000 in interest
free loans to 21 social enterprises since its launch, with 25% already repaid.
