# Charities which marked International Day of Charity - Link: https://fundraising.co.uk/2016/09/05/charities-marked-international-day-charity/ - Published: 2016-09-05T16:28:00+01:00 - Author: Howard Lake **Today was the fourth annual International Day of Charity, set up by the [United Nations](https://fundraising.co.uk/) to promote the work of charities and of the individuals and organisations that support them financially and by volunteering.** Here are some of the charities we spotted marking the day.
