# Pokémon GO and charity fundraising

**In under a month mobile game Pokémon GO has launched in over 26 countries and 
now boasts more active users than Twitter, with players using it for [43 minutes a day on average](http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36824737)–
more than Whatsapp, Instagram or Snapchat. Creative uses of it by charities and 
by individuals for social good are already emerging, so here is our selection of
some of them.**
