# The Grand Appeal raises over £200k from The Entertainer’s microdonations

**Customers of high street toy retailer The Entertainer have in the past five years
raised over £200,000 for The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity.
The sum has been raised by top-up donations, each of them no more than 99p, in partnership
with Pennies, “the digital charity box”.**

 

So far the toy shop’s customers have donated £218,674.03 to [The Grand Appeal](http://www.grandappeal.org.uk).

Helen Haskell, Corporate Partnerships Manager at The Grand Appeal, said:
