**Here are seven corporate fundraising partnerships for May that are supporting
charities across the UK in a variety of ways.**

From raising funds through in-store and online promotions, bring and buy sales,
raffles, and jewellery lines to arranging introductions to possible benefactors
and profile-raising, giving practical help and more: there are many ways in which
corporate partners can help charities:

#### 1) Mars Petcare, Tesco and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home

Mars Petcare and Tesco have been raising money for [Battersea Dogs & Cats Home](https://www.battersea.org.uk/)
as well as other animal shelters during National Pet Month, which ended on 17^(th)
May. The two companies ran a joint in-store and online promotion to raise £150,000,
part of which will go towards Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. The remainder will be
split between seven other animal charities and rescue centres, including: Hula Animal
Rescue, Manchester District Home for Lost Dogs, and Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home.

bereavement and domestic abuse. The money will go towards the charity’s work supporting
women through difficult life changes such as divorce, bullying or alcohol problems
at its one-stop-centre in St Saviourgate. The school has raised the funds through
a bring and buy sale, and a raffle at its annual dance show.
