# Arts Council relaunches Private investment in Culture survey - Link: https://fundraising.co.uk/2016/04/12/arts-council-relaunches-private-investment-culture-survey/ - Published: 2016-04-12T09:42:59+01:00 - Author: Melanie May **The [Arts Council](http://www.artscouncil.org.uk/) is calling for England’s arts and culture organisations to take part in its relaunched Private Investment in Culture survey.** The survey was the main source of information on how the private sector engaged with the arts and culture sector for 30 years but was discontinued following the 2011/12 survey. It collected information on business investment, individual giving and income from trust and foundations. The Arts Council is relaunching it this year in recognition of he growing importance of private philanthropy within the arts and culture sector and the lack of high quality data on the subject. ## Advertisement [⌊Posthub advert. The Council is inviting all arts and culture organisations based in England to take part in the survey. Participants should be senior managers with responsibility for development, fundraising, finance and/or operations, who have access to financial data on fundraising and who can answer on behalf of their organisation. All respondents will receive an advance copy of a detailed report, allowing them to benchmark their organisation against their peers, and will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of five £200 Amazon gift vouchers. The survey is being managed by MTM on behalf of Arts Council England.
