Here’s a round- up of seven of the newest corporate and charity partnerships. **   #### 󠀁[⌊Breast Cancer Care⌉⌊Breast Cancer Care⌉󠀁[ #### 1. QBE & Breast Cancer Care QBE Business Insurance has chosen Breast Cancer Care as its charity partner for the next two years. QBE aims to raise £200,000 for the charity during 2016 and 2017, under QBE’s charitable arm [The QBE Foundation](http://www.qbeeurope.com/about/csr/qbe-foundation/index.asp). Over the next two years, QBE employees will be involved in a variety of fundraising activities including a Big Pink launch event, Pink Ribbonwalks and a cycling relay between QBE’s offices across the UK. Explore Learning & Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity Explore Learning has launched a partnership with Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity that will see the 30,000+ children from across the UK that attend Explore Learning’s 120 centres each week and the company’s 3,000 staff take part in a number of events over the next year to reach a fundraising target of £12,000. The money will help fund the charity’s Roald Dahl Children’s Nurses, as well as supporting the charity’s Marvellous Family Grants which provide practical support, such as respite care, counselling and play therapy to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Thomas the Baker & Marie Curie Yorkshire-based Thomas the Baker has raised £11,500 for Marie Curie, to help fund its nurses in Yorkshire and the North East. Employees from 34 bakery branches and the head office in Helmsley have taken part in a variety of fundraising events throughout the year in support of the charity, including supporting the Great Daffodil Appeal by creating and selling cakes, and sponsored walks. Overall, Thomas the Baker has raised £64,000 for charity over the past seven years. PHMG Foundation & 19 charities PHMG Foundation, the charity arm of PH Media Group, is aiming to raise £30,000 this year to share among 19 charities, including The Christie, Children with Cancer UK, Dementia UK, MNDA, and Alzheimer’s Society. Employees from across the business will be taking part in a number of events to raise the money. If the target is reached, the company will match it with an equivalent donation, giving a potential total of £60,000. Last year, £50,000 was donated. Previous fundraising events have included a Santa dash, a skydive, an abseil down the Trafford Centre Bell Tower and a reverse bungee jump. Nationwide & The Woodland Trust Nationwide Building Society has partnered with The Woodland Trust in a deal that will see 20 new woods created in the UK containing 60,000 trees. 50 community groups will also benefit in the £1.25m partnership. Nationwide has pledged to plant a tree for members who opt to go paperless and for every current and future employee, which should see 60,000 trees planted by 2020. The partnership will also support the Woodland Trust’s new Community Woodland Network, which offers funding, inspiration and support for communities to own and manage their existing local woods. Pinsent Masons & Cure Leukaemia Sixteen employees from Pinsent Masons, including Head of Office and Birmingham Chamber of Commerce President Greg Lowson, are to run the Great Birmingham 10k on May 1^(st) to raise funds for Cure Leukaemia. The legal firm has entered its two teams into the Business Challenge for the event and has set a fundraising target of £40,000 in 2016 for the charity: enough to fund a specialist research nurse for 12 months.
