**The interactive e-learning platform covers the rules on street and door-to-door
fundraising in four modules, and has been developed in association with developer
Sponge UK.**

Accessible on phones and tablets and free to PFRA members, the modules use a mix
of interactive games and videos to cover the rules and to emphasise the importance
of understanding the circumstances of potential donors.

One of the modules (pictured) shows how fundraisers can ensure the safety and wellbeing
of vulnerable people and includes best practice on the subject. Using three actors
with disabilities, the module tests fundraisers’ reactions towards engaging people
with physical and learning impairments to help promote awareness and understanding.
The module includes videos that show the perspective of the fundraiser as well as
that of the person answering the door.

Peter Hills-Jones, CEO of PFRA, said:

> “This approach demonstrates our members’ commitment to the highest standards.
> The interactive system is a powerful way to highlight the standards we expect
> of our fundraisers, but provides them with the right kind of support. Driving
> up standards in face-to-face fundraising will help to create both better fundraisers
> and longer term donors.”
