help those affected by Storm Desmond in the area earlier this month.**

I Remember When The Rains Came Down is available on [iTunes](https://itunes.apple.com/gb/artist/colt-45/id335378501),

> When The Rain Came Down’ is all about the effect of the 2009 floods on our community,

The JustGiving Cumbria 2015 Flood Appeal raised [£500,000](https://www.fundraising.co.uk/2015/12/10/cumbria-floods-appeal-raises-500k-in-three-days/)
in its first three days and has already raised more than £3 million of its £5 million
target. The fund is administered by [Cumbria Community Foundation](http://www.cumbriafoundation.org/),
which managed the £3 million Cumbria Flood Recovery Appeal following the 2009 floods.
Grants will be distributed to relieve hardship, such as helping with cleaning up,
emergency repairs, clothing, food and drink, heating and heating equipment, childcare
equipment and basic furniture.
