**Airline easyJet has begun an emergency on-board collection to raise funds for
Unicef’s work for refugee and migrant children affected by the emergency in Syria
and neighbouring regions.**

Passengers on easyJet flights can donate on board, in any currency, to help Unicef
provide life-saving supplies such as clean water and medicine for children in Syria
and the surrounding region. The company has donated £10,000 to start the collection.

## Partnership renewed

At the same time easyJet and [Unicef](https://fundraising.co.uk/2015/09/16/easyjet-renews-unicef-support-with-on-board-collection-for-syrian-children/www.unicef.org.uk/UNICEFs-Work/Our-supporters/Organisations/Corporate-partners/easyJet)
have renewed their Change for Good™ partnership for a further three years until
June 2018. During this time on board fundraising collections will continue to raise
funds to help the global eradication of polio. However, the focus of such campaigns
might change when an emergency strikes, as in the current situation.

The airline has raised over £5 million for Unicef since the partnership began in
July 2012.
