The East Midlands group of the Institute of Fundraising is the latest group to introduce
a mentoring scheme for members. Their ‘Buddy Scheme’ is designed to help improve
the professional and personal development of members, whether they act as a mentor
or mentee.

The [IoF East Midlands Buddy Scheme](http://www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk/groups/regional-east-midlands/buddy-scheme/)
is being run initially as a trial and on an informal basis. It is open only to IoF
members.

Other IoF groups that run mentoring schemes include [IoF London](https://www.fundraising.co.uk/2013/03/18/mentoring-scheme-london-fundraisers-opens-applications/),
North West, North East, Northern Ireland, and South West.
