**Sainsbury’s has begun its 2015 Active Kids campaign, offering vouchers that can
be exchanged for sports equipment, cooking utensils and toolkits to help children
lead healthy lifestyles.**

Active Kids vouchers can be collected from 28 January until 5 May 2015 at all Sainsbury’s
stores, petrol stations and when ordering groceries online.

One voucher is earned for every £10 spent in a single transaction at Sainsbury’s
supermarkets, and one is earned for every £5 spent in a single transaction at Sainsbury’s
Locals.

## First 10 years

[Sainsbury’s Active Kids](https://activekids.sainsburys.co.uk) was first run in
2005. Since then, as of August 2014, it has provided over £150 million worth of
equipment and experiences.

Sainsbury’s Active Kids is back for 2015

Active Kids vouchers can be collected and exchanged to provide equipment and experiences
for children at **nurseries, primary and secondary schools, Girlguiding groups,
Scout groups, and Clubmark accredited sports clubs**.

You can explore the range of items available to participating organisations in the
[catalogue](https://activekids.sainsburys.co.uk/active-kids-products).

## Two kinds of vouchers

This year, in addition to the standard vouchers used in previous years, you might
also receive a smaller till-printed paper voucher. Both are of course eligible for
collection this year.

Tara Hewitt, Head of Sponsorship for Sainsbury’s said: “

> “Since launching Active Kids ten years ago we have seen sport and nutrition become
> prolific in the classroom, and we’re proud to have helped so many schools and
> groups to bring these subjects to life by donating over £150million of equipment
> and experiences over this time. Active Kids vouchers are now back in stores ready
> to be collected and exchanged for our biggest ever collection of sports equipment,
> cooking utensils and toolkits to help kids make healthy lifestyles second nature.”
