Online fundraising platform Believe.in has introduced an events and ticketing service,
enabling charities to sell tickets and allow supporters to set up fundraising pages
in one branded system without relying on multiple third parties brands such as Eventbrite
and JustGiving.

Charities can now create [bespoke event pages](https://uk.believe.in/products/events)
for each event in their calendar, whether galas, dinners, concerts or marathons,
and offer free or paid-for tickets. They will be able to use tiered pricing, specifying
how many tickets at each price are available, and even offering sales windows for
each price.

## Integrating peer-to-peer fundraising

In addition, Believe.in are integrating ‘crowd fundraising’ (or peer-to-peer fundraising)
with ticketing to enable supporters to register for an event and then fundraise
at it, all in one location.

Charities can use the new system to set up a group event, like a marathon. Believe.
in say that, as well as making the processes easier for supporters, the combined
data should help database managers and event organisers reconcile data more easily,
and use the data more effectively.

The service features leaderboards and extensive integration with social channels,
which Believe.in say will increase volumes of supporters and ticket-buyers.

Co-founder and CEO of Believe.in, Matthias Metternich, said:

> “Our technology is already showing phenomenal success at converting online audiences
> into engaged, long-term patrons and we’re proud to imbue this thinking into a
> powerful new ticketing product that charities have hitherto been without.”

The new ticketing and events function follows the introduction of a new real-time
analytics and CRM dashboard. At the same time the company announced the appointment
of Alistair Kilpatrick, formerly AKQA’s Design Director.

## How much?

The crowd fundraising facility is included in Believe.in’s lowest pricing level,‘
Free’, which levies no monthly fee, and charges 5% only on donations handled.

The ticketed events and crowd fundraising combination are available on all the other
pricing levels, from ‘Starter’ at £95 per month plus 4% on donations, through ‘Advanced’
