Localgiving.com, the fundraising platform for local charities, is extending its
capacity building programme for charities in North Yorkshire.

Following a grant from the Peter Sowerby Foundation, local charities and community
groups can, for the next 12 months, receive a first year membership on Localgiving.
com at no charge, including one-to-one training and support, and access to £25,000
in match funding opportunities.

The extension follows the success of the first year of the programme in which over
100 charities in North Yorkshire have raised over £90,000. The scheme, which will
now run until 30 June 2015, helps local charities get online to raise funds and
awareness.
