# Fujitsu seeks its next charity partner - Link: https://fundraising.co.uk/2014/06/05/fujitsu-seeks-next-charity-partner/ - Published: 2014-06-05T12:20:51+01:00 - Author: Howard Lake **As its two-year partnership with Shelter approaches its conclusion, ICT solutions provider Fujitsu is looking for its next charity partner. Specifically it wishes to develop a long-term strategic relationship with a charity that aligns to one of its five work streams or to its core technology focus.** It points out that it is a B2B organisation so cannot offer large scale consumer engagement programmes that some charities might have experience of with other more consumer-focused corporate supporters. Nevertheless, it is looking for a partnership that can: * offer exciting engagement opportunities for its staff and partners * capitalise on its core expertise * help demonstrate how its operates” as a responsible member of Britain’s business community” ## ⏎ Fujitsu and Shelter So far Fujitsu has contributed almost £800,000 to Shelter, and it is still working on ICT investment in Shelter’s retail network. Charities that have been shortlisted will be notified by 21 July. Craig Hall, Head of Corporate Charity Partnerships at Fujitsu in the UK and Ireland, has posted on LinkedIn: Fujitsu is seeking a new charity partner who wants a strategic relationship that aligns with the significant responsibility we have to help address social issues affecting the communities in which we operate. We regard this engagement with community stakeholders as a key part of securing long-term sustainability for our organisation. The work we do in the community is guided not only by the needs of communities but by issues that are important to Fujitsu.
