Hundreds of fundraising and charity-related newsreels from 1890 onwards are included
in the sharing on YouTube by British Pathe of 85,000 newsreels.

The news and entertainment video film archive is one of the major sources of film
news for the 20th century, covering political, sporting, cultural, social and many
other issues.

Here are just a few of the fundraising-related films we’ve discovered so far. Thanks
to [John Thompson of Changing Business](https://twitter.com/JTCHANGINGBIZ) for flagging
up this treasure trove.
