The NSPCC has begun promoting a weekly lottery to expand its range of regular giving
options to supporter.

Participants pay £1 a week and are entered to win £1,000 in the weekly draws. In
addition they can win £8,000 or prizes including cars and gadgets in quarterly ‘
superdraws’. The first draw will take place on 16 May.

The children’s charity is offering a £500 bonus prize for those who sign up before
17 April. People can sign up online or via telephone, and they can choose one or
two entries per week. The Lottery is open to UK residents aged 16 or over.

> “The [Weekly Lottery](http://www.nspcc.org.uk/lottery) is a great way for the
> NSPCC to attract a new audience of regular givers, whilst offering the chance
> to win prizes, as well as cross-sell to existing supporters. Every weekly entry
> is another £1 towards our vital work ensuring children across the UK are protected
> from harm. Players will be helping children every week of the year as well as
> having the chance to win some amazing prizes – a win-win situation.”
