# VocaLink helps London’s Air Ambulance with donations technology

UK and international payments provider Vocalink has partnered with London’s Air 
Ambulance to provide _pro bono_ financial and resource support to the charity over
the next two years.

The partnership, part of [VocaLink](http://www.vocalink.com)‘s Responsible Business
Programme, is getting underway with an assessment of the charity’s donation systems
and associated technologies. In addition the company will support the charity through
staff fundraising activities.

Graham Hodgkin, CEO of [London’s Air Ambulance](http://www.londonsairambulance.co.uk)

> “It is ultimately the donations from people and businesses that enable us to save
> lives each day. Improving the donation experience and making the process easier
> for our supporters will enhance our fundraising effectiveness, allowing us to 
> continue our life-saving work.”

Now in its 25th year, London’s Air Ambulance has treated over 30,000 critically 
injured patients in London. It is trying to raise sufficient funds for a second 
helicopter and to recruit additional pilots and fire crew to extend is daylight 
flying hours in the summer months.
