eBay for Charity is running a competition this month with a prize of £1,000 for
the winning charity. If a charity's supporter makes a donation through eBay for
Charity during September, they will be entered to win £1,000 for their favourite
charity and £500 for themselves.

The competition is being run to mark the raising of over £50 million for 7,800 UK
charities on eBay since [eBay for Charity](http://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebayforcharity/index.html)
launched in 2006.
