# EasyJet passengers donate £215,290 to UNICEF

**Passengers on easyJet have donated £215,290 in just six weeks for UNICEF’s emergency
appeal for the children in Syria. Collections were made on its Europe-wide network
of over 1,000 daily flights from 1 February to 15 March.**

 

They were part of easyJet’s involvement in [UNICEF](http://www.unicef.org.uk)‘s ‘
Change for Good’ corporate partnership, which launched in July 2012. Change for 
Good, which includes other airlines (American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Qantas),
has raised £53 million so far.

[EasyJet](http://www.easyjet.com) has also provided a number of seats for UNICEF
staff and experts on flights to Jordan.
