Each charity can have up to £2,500 in donations matched. The Localgiving.com March Match Fund could therefore generate £750,000 or more with Gift Aid within a few weeks. The last Match Fund campaign ran for seven days in December and boosted local cahrities by nearly £300,000. Localgiving.com will begin matching donations pound for pound beginning at 09.00 on 1 March 2012, and will continue until the full £375,000 has been matched. Individual charities can receive more than £2,500 in donations of course, but donations above that amount will not be matched. ## Advertisement [⌊Posthub advert. You create the campaign. There are a few limits to the fund: • The standard minimum donation amount on Localgiving.com is £5 • The standard maximum donation amount on Localgiving.com is £1000 (per transaction) • Charities with overdue subscriptions to Localgiving.com will not be eligible. Localgiving.com points out that these limits are communicated on each charity’s donation page, so when a supporter makes a donation, s/he will be notified of the amounts available to donate and/or to be matched for each charity (with or without Gift Aid). http://localgiving.com/howitworks/matchfund * **[Voluntary sector workforce in England 'larger than previous estimates'](https://fundraising.co.uk/2012/06/12/voluntary-sector-workforce-england-039larger-previous-estimates039/)**( 12 June 2012) * **[Localgiving's Grow Your Tenner campaign to match donations to small charities in England](https://fundraising.co.uk/2012/09/18/localgiving039s-grow-your-tenner-campaign-match-donations-small-charities-england/)**( 18 September 2012) * **[Deadline extended for Technology4Good Youth Awards](https://fundraising.co.uk/2012/12/05/deadline-extended-technology4good-youth-awards/)**( 5 December 2012)
