**Purina, the company that produces cat food FELIX® and dog food Winalot®, has achieved
its target for recycling pet food tins in a summer campaign to benefit three charities.**

Pet owners were encouraged to recycle steel pet food cans in the [Together We Can](http://www.purina.co.uk/wecan)
campaign during July 2011. The campaign website now reports that 50,206 cans have
been recycled, beating the target of 50,000 cans.

Purina will therefore be donating £30,000, to be split equally between Cats Protection,
Canine Partners and Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
