Some of the UK’s major donors will be speaking at Raising Funds from the Rich next
month in London. The annual conference, organised by Action Planning, will be attended
by around 2,000 delegates.

The event gives charity chief executives, trustees, directors and fundraisers, and
wealthy individuals an opportunity to hear directly from some of Britain’s major
donors, together with leading experts on major donor fundraising and philanthropy
from the UK and USA.

Donors speaking at the event include Arpad (Arki) Busson, founder of ARK and one
of the Sunday Times Rich List top five givers; Lady Helen Hamlyn, philanthropist
and widow of publisher Lord Paul Hamlyn; Richard Harvey, who gave up a top job in
insurance (CEO of Aviva plc) to volunteer in Africa; and Andrew Wates, whose family
are leading UK donors to community and faith-based causes.
