The new GuideStar Israel online database (www.guidestar.org.il) has just been launched.
Approximately 29,000 Israeli non-profit organizations are currently included. GuideStar
Israel is a joint project of the Ministry of Justice, Yad Hanadiv (the Rothschild
Foundation) and JDC Israel, and is operated by NPTech – Technologies for Nonprofit
Organizations Ltd.

I have had problems searching for information in English, but it is early days yet.
