Each chapter provides a breakdown of how each level of government funds the voluntary sector. The government is the largest provider of funding to the voluntary sector. Author Sarah Johnston said: “In comparison with grant-making charities, statutory funding is constantly evolving. This guide enables fundraisers to engage with statutory funders in what is a fast paced and competitive environment.” First published in 1998, this is the third edition of the book.
