Marie Curie Cancer Care has won this year’s Everyclick Charity Challenge so will
receive a major Clear Channel Outdoor national advertising campaign across 1,500
UK sites.

Hundreds of charities enocuraged their supporters to to search the internet, donate
and fundraise on online giving platform Everyclick. To make it fair, Everyclick
divided the Charity Challenge into three categories based on the size of charities’
donor bases. Marie Curie was the winner of the large charities category and also
the overall competition.

The winners of the small and medium categories were Endometriosis UK and Epilepsy
Action. They both win free advertising on Everyclick.

[Marie Curie](http://www.mariecurie.org.uk) will now work with Clear Channel Outdoor
and Everyclick to launch a national advertising campaign to raise awareness of the
charity’s work, which will appear later this year. The winner in 2008 was Diabetes
UK.

Pip Hainsworth, Marketing Director of Clear Channel Outdoor UK, said: “The Marie
Curie entry was outstanding for its clear objectives and evidence of effectiveness,
the integrated campaign using every resource available, and the sheer energy and
enthusiasm that shone through”.

Since its launch in 2005 Everyclick has attracted over 140,000 registered users,
who have helped raise over £750,000 for UK charities.

The next Everyclick Charity Challenge will be announced later in 2009.
