The Big Lottery Fund has announced grants of nearly £18 million for 400 advice organisations
across England. The grants for the ‘Advice Plus’ programme is being distributed
through 39 grants to advice organisations working in partnership.

The funding programme is designed to support projects which support the most disadvantaged
communities through provision of advice services concentrating on legal advice,
and which support people to access the services and benefits they may be entitled
to.

The projects were able to apply for grants up to £500,000 for capital and revenue
projects lasting up to five years.
